Just obtained a 2000 Saleen. First 50 miles drove with no problem, then occasional die at stop at idle. Now after warmed up, it dies almost every stop. Also, the RPMs will often ramp up and down while at idle. Found out it was filled with 87 octane (half tank remains), but no detonation ping and plenty of power. Now to get some good Octane Booster, but doubt if help.
What are probable problems and best diagnosis to correct?? I have rebuilt and maintained many 60s and 70s vehicles but am not supercharge savvy!!
