I'm sure too much. Saleen will probably price their cars similar to SMS.

The 435S is a supercharged car at $39,900

The S281 at Sema was Octane Red and base price is $59,900

I heard the loaded S281 would be in the mid-60's.

I like the lines from the side...don't care for the rear end or front end.

So,,saying you can get a dealer to discount the 281 down to 56K (good luck with that)...2010 Shelbys are selling for 49K..which would you take?

After the warranty debacle..not sure I could even seriously consider putting 55K into a new "Saleen" no matter how much I would tell myself I liked it.

Seeing it in person was much different, it was neat seeing the 435S and the 281SC side by side, you definately will get what you pay for on either one.

Aside from that the Shelby and Saleen are just that, and are not meant to be the same.

If Saleen ever decides to flood the market and make thousands of their cars then maybe the price will come down closer to the others.

Txs for the post. I finally found the color options in one of the links in another post. Sweet color.
