It was stated originally that these would not go into production untill February. It is still on track to hit that time frame.

I am kind of curious to how you all (Saleen) are going to deal with the 2011's and their stratospheric compression ratio being that most of your engine power comes from positive displacement supercharging. It would seem the only option for you all (Saleen) would be for a total engine upgrade, much like the E-type cars. Any thought of going to turbocharging? Perhaps this should be a different thread or is this a hush-hush topic for now?

Its not a hush hush topic at all, we will not go to a Turbo! As we have stated already, we have a whole new next generation Supercharger ready to go for this without changing or upgrading the whole motor. We have been well aware of this motor change for going on 2 years now as we have been machining the heads for Ford for their engineering test fleet, so we are well prepared!! Now as far as the hp numbers you will just have to wait for that!
