well im a new owner of an 08 427R and it didnt take long for me to realize that the coppers on the rear are just HORRIBLE! its like driving on ice.....

im looking to replace them with one that can handle the added power better.....

which tire and size would you guys recommend?

im going to be keeping the coopers up front just using others for the back....current size is 275 40 18 all around.....

Get some 285 Nitto 555R's, if you want a street tire go with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus.. I have those on my 18s, and they take abuse like nothing and still grip great! I did a 1.932 60ft on the track with my automatic on those tires. Nitto NT555's are nice too, i have those on my 20s
