What are the steps I need to go through to get a 999 Build report from Ford for my car? I have a 97 "Saleen" Cobra however there was extra aftermarket stuff done to it. I am under the impression it is a clone so I need the 999 report and also there isn't a Saleen badge, but I would still like to find out if it is real or not, just for my own knowledge.

I read the forum on finding if it is real or not but I only have the VIN number can I just contact Saleen with that?
