2001 Saleen, Real or Fake?

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and i was looking at purchasing a 2001 Saleen, but not sure if it is real or fake. It is a 2001 Saleen coupe #169, has 50k miles, many mods, and the VIN is 1FAFP42X61F131137. i don't have the dash or the firewall number as i have only seen pics of it. I really want the car but i don't want to get ripped off either. Thanks for all ur help.

Like everyone said call Saleen and give them the vin# and they will tell you. Also there should be a small plaque somewhere under the hood with Vin on it and the Saleen car #. Also ther should be a small plaque in the passenger compartment also usually on the shifter panel. But keep in mind these plaques can be faked. so best is to call.
