Default 05 Daleen 281 SC noise Help Plz!

Hey guys so I am looking into buying this 05 Saleen but there is a nasty noise coming from right on top of the engine, I am thinking that the supercharger is hooped? It only has 18,000 km's ..I will upload this video or a link to it that I took today and hope you can hear it ok. The intercooler resevoir looks clean? When I rev it up there is also no boost registering on the guage?... Let me know what you think, thanks guys!!

i have to wait for the video to uplaod I will post it as soon as its done...

The Saleen s/c sounds nasty anyway especially at idle when cold. Depending on the pulley and vacuum line routing you wont see boost till WOT.I just noticed you have an 05 so you know what they normally sound like.

I just listened to your video. That sounds normal to me. It's just at idle they sound like that.

the noise is definitly not normal, it sounds like bearings are really bad or something is rubbing against the case or something?

Mine has sounded 'grindy' from day one, and I've heard others sound the same. No issues. If you're serious about it, offer to pay for a dyno pull.

I had to pass on it... the price of the car was good but I can't afford to fix the blower or buy a new one. More than one ford certified tech called the blower as needing replacement, Its only a matter of time before that blower goes and sucks everything thru the engine and then I'd be in big trouble. It sucks cause its a sexy *** car but I just cant spend $26,000 on a car that needs a $6000+ blower install.
