I own a 1998 Shinoda Boss Gt and am trying to sell it. Upon someone looking at it, the authenticity of the Boss became an issue. How can I tell if it is truly a Shinoda Boss?

Welcome to the forum! Never heard if a Shinoda Boss... And the only boss I know of now beside the old school one is the 2012...

the shinoda boss was an aftermarket type of thing that they did on the sn95's. i remember a 94-98, i cant remember if they were all yellow or not but the kit is just graphics and aero parts *i.e. body kit/spoiler*


and i think they put a decal badge inside onthe dash somewhere that *was suppose* showed that itwas really a boss shinoda

ok i found a list of all the shinodas they built and the color/year. so! i was wrong they are not only yellow~

I was gonna say... I know of at least 2 orange '96 Shinodas in FL.
One of them is now sporting the S281 wing I sold off my '98.

The thing you need to understand is that it wasn't a FORD Boss. That may be what your buyer expected. Shinoda was a tuner and I expect they used the Boss under liscense.

In short, it isn't a real Boss, it's a Shinoda interpretation.

Boss002

Even though the original "boss 302" was designed by larry shinoda as the new boss shinodas are not ford boss editions of course. I have the #002 99-04 boss legacy edition, which is really only a front and rear spoiler with graphics tribute package.

Some of the boss shinoda editions do have serialized plaques inside the car and on firewall with vin though. This is my legacy
