I am serious considering a 2006 black on black 5 speed S281. 11000 miles. Mint condition. New tires. Only driven occasionally. What is the car worth? Is it worth 25,500? I know book value, but wanted opinions. Doctor owned, flawless. Thanks.

if its doctor owned than i doubt he cares to take a few g's less than its worth or asking like most people. At our hospital i work at we always have doctors with z06's for real cheap just to get rid of them. Last week we had a doctor sell his 2011 mustang gt premium with exhaust, cai/tune for 25k and now he has a porche (not sure what kind though)...the worst that can happen with an offer is them saying no

It's worth what someone's willing to pay... which must be in correlation to what he's willing to let it go for.

$25,500 for the "right" 2006 Saleen is in the ballpark for some, maybe not for others.

Does it all check out?

Is it a 3-Valve or Supercharged model from the factory?

Is it unmolested?

Is it equipped the way you want it?

He is firm on the price. The car is perfect. But I have owned 15 Corvettes.
Will I like the Saleen? And is the regular S281 faster than a 4.6 GT?

OP you end up getting it? The S281 does have a bit more power than the stock GT. May not go round a track faster, but it is technically more powerful.
