Default Boss 302 side exhaust disc...

Have any of you guys taken these out, if so what did you need to do it and did you do it yourself? I was thinking about putting some after market axlebacks on but I wanted to know if removing the exhaust disc would make that pointless. I'm just looking to get louder this car is way too quiet for the reputation that it has.

On each side remove two 16mm nuts from the pipe to side exhaust tip flange and one 16mm bolt that holds side exhaust tip to frame. Drop the end and remove plate. Then replace it all. Ten minutes.

By the way, after you do this you will not need an after market kit!

Holy smokes! I removed them this morning and I will most definitely not being buying an after market axleback, this thing just sounds like it's gonna run someone over now..........+1 to Ford for this feature.

Here is a pic of it but you really don't need it, you only have to remove three nuts on each side, a women could do this.
