Default Saleen S7 color

Hi!

I'm found a Saleen S7 in a picture gallery when looking for a new color for my car. It looks really stunning! However I can't find any name or colorcode for this paint, can anyone help me? It looks like this:

<FONT color=#000000>http://www.vectornut.com/ConcorsoIt...leen_S7_11.html</FONT>

<FONT color=#000000>http://www.vectornut.com/ConcorsoIt...leen_S7_09.html</FONT>

<FONT color=#000000>http://www.vectornut.com/ConcorsoIt...leen_S7_07.html</FONT>

Any help is appreciated!

Kind regards,
Erik, Sweden

Would be great Please drop a post here if you find something out.</P>

Birdieman: Doesn't look quite like lizstick, although that's also a great color. Is it possible to get the color-code for lizstick red? If I remember correctly that's a custom color and hard to getthe code for.

Erik, Saleen won't give out a color code on their custom paints. I have a beryllium clearcoat S281E that recently had minor paintwork to a small section. I had to have Saleen send the paint to my paint shop; it was ultra expensive and difficult to get. It took 6 weeks, and Saleen verified it several times.

That's actually BASF's doing and not Saleen's. All of the custom Saleen colors (Berrylium, Lizstick Red, Victory Blue, Speedlab Yellow, Ocean, Rainbow, etc.) are BASF formulations. When one of the custom colors are ordered, BASF sends someone in with the paint, paint the car and return with any leftover paint. Which is why the paint colors are an expensive option and why it's difficult to get any touch-up as Saleen doesn't have this stuff lying around. </P>
