2007 Mustang Roush 427R Upgrade Limits
Well this is my first post and I have a few questions. I ran into the previous owner of my 2007 Roush and he gave me a ford racing cold air intake, and a 1.57" pulley for my supercharger. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if these upgrades are within the limits of my engine. Also what do you propose my power increases will reach with both of those upgrades? Right now I have 435 hp at the crankshaft. Also, if I bring my car to dynocomp in Scottsdale AZ to make the adjustments, can they unlock my computer or does Roush have the computer locked? Do I have to buy a tuner and do it myself and send it to the Roush Factory?
I am new to this forum and not very keen on how modifications will affect my perfomance or what is required. Thank you.

Welcome to MF's. Your best bet is to post this question in the Tech forum. It will get more attention and you will find/get the answers you are looking for. There is a wealth of knowledge here. Love the car.

Yes, those upgrades will be ok for your car. The biggest limiting factor when making power is the stock bottom end.
A dyno shop will be able to adjust the Roush tune for those mods without any issues, no need for a handheld or sending it to Roush.

Welcome!
One route you might want to consider is contacting Justin at VMP Tuning. He can write a tune that will work with your car, and still be within the safe limits. He can ship the tune on a tuner, and you can upload on your own (as opposed to sending the box off to Roush, for example). A lot of people here like his work.
In general, about 475 - 500 at the crank is considered "safe" for our stock bottom ends, it just depends on who you talk to.
Have fun.
