Default Info and help on parts for my 02 Saleen.

I have a 100% stock 2002 Saleen s281 convertible
Not super charged. I want to change some stuff up on the
Car but not too sure where to start?

1. Hood? My Saleen has a stock looking gt hood w/hood scoop.
I would like to put a different hood on.
What other hoods do saleen mustangs run?

2. Suspension?? I want to lower the car 1.5-2 inches
More, I'm sure the Saleen has a great suspension set
Up already, any ideas??

3. Center exhaust? I do have a o.e.m center exhaust bumper I want
To put on my Saleen, but I need info on the
Exhaust part? Size? Tips? Exc...

4. Speedstar top? I need one and don't want to buy
Junk, where to get one?

Thanks for any info.

The only hoods Saleens used were stock oe for non SC cars, SC hood for SC cars, and the Extreme hood for... yeah the extreme cars.

Lowering it further i wouldn't recommend. I am guessing you are referring more to the front. The problem is the front suspension in combination with the wheel width and tire well to not really allow for that. You will see rubbing as soon as you lower it further.

Call magnaflow, they were the OE supplier to saleen for the center exhaust.

Ok thanks for the info,

I would like to change my hood to a sc hood, where is a good
Place to buy one? As for lowering the car, my Saleen has about
1.5-2 inch fender gap (front and back) from the top of the tires to the fender,
I would like to close up the gap, but I don't want to replace the stock
Saleen springs with springs that are not as good.
I understand that the center exhaust is discontinued so I'll
Have to make them, just wanted to see if anyone has gone
That route and any suggestions?
