New here and I have a question.
Hello everyone. I am new here and I have a question I hope someone can answer. I have someone who is giving me a 95 Mustang with what he says is a Roush V6. I have looked all over the internet and cannot find any info about it. He says he special ordered the car from the dealer with that engine. Was that even an option in 95? Can anyone give me some more info on this motor?
Thanks

There were Roush V6 cars in '95. They are rare, but they happend. Back then not only were they made by Roush in house, but a Roush authorized dealer could install all the parts as well. They had two versions (Sport and Stage 1). Sport was the body kit and side exit exhaust (if optioned with the side exit - there was non side exit on 95-98 Roush cars). Stage 1 added wheels and a set of Roush V6 specific lowering springs and a GT rear sway bar (stock V6 came without a rear sway bar).
Do you have pic of it? I could verify all the 'correct' parts are there.
I do know of several clone/fakes floating around.

Nope, not at all. It wasn't until the S197 cars that Roush offered any off the shelf parts at all for the V6 engines in the Mustangs (and even then it was just a cold air intake).
It would be worth some money to the right enthusiast / collector due to how rare the early Roush cars are, but there isn't anything special with the motor for the cars.
Keep us updated for sure. I try to keep track of the original generation of Roush cars (as do several others). It will be interesting to see this one. When I bought my '98, I had been looking for an original V6 Roush from that generation for sale for over a year and came up dry.
