What do you guys think? I've never really looked into the used Roush market before but when I was at the dealership considering the Boss 302 it was 45k and the stage 3's they had on the lot were around 60k.
wow.. nice find. it was a private party I guess ?

a dealer would have probably removed all the aftermarket parts and sold them separate

If you want a motor to last you can either not drive it or baby it but anything can go wrong. I have seen folks break engine parts with less than 6,000 miles on them.

Well this is how I bought it, I guess I might take it and get it tuned down. Right now it's at 12psi according to my boost gauge. Seeing as I only have public roads to test that, I just got onto a highway and tested it in second and third gear. Each time I stepped on it, it went up to 12psi.

You got a screaming deal at 40K. Nice score.

It'll be fine at that power level as long as you're not dropping the hammer every light in the texas heat. The car is pretty much maxed out safely so unfortunately I would suggest building the internals at this point before doing anything else. Realistically though how much more did you want? A great upgrade nobody mentioned yet would be an afco heat exchanger to help keep the temps in check. Give us a call if you need more guidance!

Get hold of Brenspeed in IN. they are the dealer on MOGRIP S/C idler system, which gained 3 tenths on there race car. Its a plate with an idler which wraps the belt around the S/C more thus stopping belt slip adding hp & tq you are loosing from belt slip.
Get hold of them, why upgrade with high priced mods when you are loosing hp/tq from belt slip? Pic. and install instructions will be on my web site soon. mosaleen.com
