2001 saleen 281

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and new to the Saleen. I recently purchased a 2001 Saleen 281 and want to have it looked at by a qualified mechanic. While I have messages into Saleen for an authorized dealer in Western Michigan, I'd be welcome to your feedback on where else I can have the car looked through? Would a high performance engine repair place be just as capable? I called my local dealer in Muskegon Michigan about the car, but I didn't feel comfortable in their response.

Yes. My profile includes that detail. These details include

4.6L 281cubic inch 2V V8
Keene Bell 2.IL inter cooled supercharger at 9psi of boost
Keene Belle boost a pump and Keene Bell cold air intake
Borla exhaust

All I know is that the car goes fast and I need to find
A place that will service it.

It's been over 24 hours since I called Saleen. They haven't returned my call.

Am I better in going to a high performance engine repair center for any type of work that might be needed?

Well all I can say is search around for a reputable Speed shop that has experience with mustangs. They should be just as capable of taking care of your needs. Hopefully someone on here from Michigan could recommend you a great shop.

I have an appt at a high performance engine shop in appx a week so I hope I I'll better understand what I have with my Saleen.
