anyone recognize this saleen?

Don't pop that hood, playa.......
Seriously, run a carfax, have it checked out by an independent.
Could have been traded in several times due to high insurance costs, couldn't afford the payment, etc...

Get the Vin Number and have a local (trusted Ford dealer) run an OASIS check on it. DO NOT have the selling dealer run the check or have the check run for you. Do it yourself.
The OASIS system is fords internal tracking (by vin) of a car's service history. Way more accurate that Carfax provided the previous owners used Ford service. If not, have the car checked by an independent performance shop that knows fords and run the carfax.

With cosmetic mods like that, also very likely some performance mods were done that may or may not have been reflected in OASIS.
Email the VIN to me and I can have it checked for Saleen authenticity, and if it was built as a Supercharged model.

well...it had 110 jlt, bren 93 tune, det. rkr cams plus all the saleen stuff...Mechanically, it "seemed" perfect...I did not drive it...The photographers over at Hynduai are VERY creative...The car was rough, and I was not wow'd...For 30-32K from a used vehicle I want to be wow'd...Thanks for all the input...The blue under the hood was something, but not as much as the pictures show...Y'all have seen a car that's sat outside some and not a garage queen...now look at the perfect pictures...The difference from a perfect car (pictures) bold and brightness and a outdoor car is the same reduction of loud/bright under the hood...It was a lot of blue though...It stickered for 37, "online special" of 33...I offered him 30 on the phone, before looking at it, which he accepted...After seeing it I offered 27.5...he laughed, then I laughed and got in my truck...decent experience at hyndaui (never bought a used car), have to say, and decent knowledge of another make of car...He knew a lot about it, but said he had a stage 1 2009 roush at home, so maybe he's a mustang guy??? thanks again y'all...I'm holding up the search for now...too time consuming.

I thought the Detroit rocker cams weren't boost friendly? might have even brought down the HP?
Big problem with saleens is you have to really want a "saleen" branded car. They are way overpriced for what you get.
That is likely what the last 3 owners realized is they paid 10,000-15,000 more than they should have for the car... even 27.5k for that is way overpriced imo, more of a 20k car... but you'll never see me driving a Shelby or saleen or rousch (unless it's the GT500 which is a decent deal)
