I find your description of a hand assembled engine interesting. I believe this is the stock 4.6L V8 Mustang GT engine with a chrome M90 supercharger.
Only the P51A & B versions and the 2010 Stage 3 engines are hand built and assembled with forged parts. Unless you've sent this car back to the Roush plant in Michigan for the engine to be rebuilt with forged internals by Roush technicians, this is a supercharged stock GT block.
This is a 429 Stage Roush Mustang. The Stage 3 Mustang is a different model. It had about a $21,000 Roush upgrade package over the 429R's $17,000 upgrade package. This included forged wheels, performance tires, Stage 3 (Red) suspension and a brake upgrade kit.
Although the 428R and 429R Stage Roush Mustangs are limited build numbers. The BlackJack, P51A/P51B, 427R Trak Pak and Stage 3 models appear be more desirable in the market place.
I agree that the 427R is less desirable due to it's 1,000 plus unit build but honestly think that your sales price is about $5,000 to $10,000 over marker value. The main problem with Roush is that there isn't NADA (National Auto Dealers Assoc.) support for resale value.
Good luck with the sale.
