Default 2013 Roush. Are the quarter window louvers glued on?

They were held on with Velcro on my GT.

Don't get me started - if they are anything like my 2008 louvers, not only are they stuck on with automotive tape, but some "genious" at the Roush factory in Livonia SANDED the paint next to the window under the louvers! WTF! Now, I can't remove the louvers if I wanted to.

Maybe they removed the extra paint to make the car lighter?
