Default Roush TVS w/ Strut Tower Brace??

I bought one of the Ford Racing 07-09 GT500 Strut Tower Braces and installed it on my 2012 RS3 after reading online and on AM's customer reviews that it would clear the JLT intake, the TVS blower, and the "Powerdome" hood would still close.

All 3 are true, however my hood is lifted up higher than the fender, only on the passenger side when I close the hood. I tried removing the hood liner and still the hood sits higher only on one side. I tried to see where the brace might be coming in contact with the hood and pushing it up, and cant see or figure out anywhere it's touching/rubbing. Anyone else with a similar issue or any ideas??

TIA

The issue was my hood having a slight bend in it. Had my mechanic drop the hood liner and cut some of the under-webbing from the hood, but not enough to affect it structurally. End result is a perfectly closing hood and the STB not even rubbing the hood liner anymore:

Default A Simple Black Strut Tower brace

Does anyone know of a simple strut tower brace that will fit on a 2015/16 GT 5.0L with a Roush Supercharger without any alterations! I'm going to need one & I'd rather have a simple, black, GT 500 look in a brace than a fancy after market look. For my last Mustang I found a non Ford STB to fit over a 4.6L with a Roush Supercharger that was very inexpensive!

Hood clearance on 2015 is extremely limited, I honestly wouldn't expect to fit a brace without dropping the motor or using an aftermarket hood.

Yikes! My 2008 needed a brace badly after adding the supercharger to reduce twisting the front clip!

Do you know if the "flat" brace shown on the GT 350, or any other brace will fit? The GT 350 brace seems pretty low in pictures of the GT 350 engine. Maybe the structure of the 2015/16 will resist twisting the front end more than the 2008, based on the higher torque of the 5.0L .... I hope! Does Roush have any suggestions regarding the need for a Shock Tower Brace to go with their supercharger? Needed?

Thanx in advance for any ideas,

Default Strut Tower Braces for Roush Supercharger

Of course I know I'm wrong .... but after quite a bit of time with my Roushcharged 2016 GT I see no evidence that it needs a strut tower brace. My 2008 GT twisted the front end quite a bit until I added a strut tower brace, but I see no evidence of that with my 2016 GT even with the extra torque. I just thought I'd pass that on for those considering a supercharger.
