Does anyone have a breakdown of how many conv,hardtops,cobras, etc? I think I am going to get the Saleen book. It has up to 04's right?

Actually I was looking for the production #'s of Saleen.

2004 was close to 1000 I THINK I read somewhere. The Saleen book only goes through 2003.

In 2004, Saleen produced 380 total S281's. I got a Letter of Authenticity from Liz that shows this. It states my car is one of 380, and only 1 of 1 with my specific color and upgrades.

The Saleen Book only goes up to 2003, unfortunately.

There you go - I stand corrected on my guess earlier. Hey WydOpen - what options do you have on your '04 SC?? Seems odd that your car would be 1 of 1 being its a coupe and red. Not doubting you or stirring up any ****, just curious what all makes it 1 of 1.

I have no idea. Here is a pic of my Letter of Authenticity from Saleen. I guess I won't really know until the next registry comes out. They may have made a lot of torch red coupes, but not a lot of supercharged coupes with the upgraded brake and wheel package? Some were also produced with black graphics, not all had chrome wheels, and maybe different interior color? That is all that comes to mind.

WydOpen- I just purchased my Saleen from the same place in Raleigh, NC. Actually the guy I dealt with is from the same place I live. His brother also works there and he is from the same hometown. I couldn't believe it!

My salesman was Aric Swanger...not sure if he is still there or not. I haggled them from $50,000 down to $42,000 for mine. Value of my trade-in is another story.

I e-mailed Liz yesterday and she said she can't give me my #'s until the dealer sends Saleen the Retail Delivery Report. So it could be a couple of weeks before I find out anything on mine. The dealer told me that there is a good chance that mine might be 1 of 1. I hope so! Liz also told me that I will be getting my $100 toward parts once I complete my survey! I didn't know they were still doing that.
