I have not personally had experience with the aftermarket coils, but it seems that the general consensus is to stick with the oem motorcraft coil because the aftermarket ones tend to give problems...

They're not blue or red but I have Taylor Street Thunder 8mm wires that I like real well. They fit in the factory looms. Got them from American Muscle.
