Also, the factory exhaust is 2 1/4 while most aftermarket is 2 1/2. Off road h-pipe's aren't a pocket book breaker. Be smart and not hack up that factory mid pipe.

I hope that's the case. There are 4 spots, 2 in the head and 2 in the block, where a leak can happen, plus all the npt fittings and head gaskets. Check out reply 4's pic for an idea....

I ran cut outs on my z28 years ago. I loved them at the time considering they were open 24/7. Personally, now I would only do them on a toy and have the electric cut outs at that.

Whatever you do, don't spray water on the engine....

Whatever you do, don't spray water on the engine. Since the coil packs are in a hole, they will collect water and have a good chance on damaging them.
