I got a stock replacement LUK clutch from rockauto for $120.00. Then I just bought the ford racing TOB and pilot bearing from AM. I haven't installed it yet, but I've heard nothing but good things.

You might have a fuel pump that's getting ready to go. Only real way to tell is to hook up a pressure gauge and see what readings you get when it starts to act up.

i think cliffyk was the one that did it first. i believe he made a write up but i can't seem to find it. maybe he'll chime in. and it's not as easy as just pulling the boot down. you'll see.

any sts is an improvement over the stock shifter. I've honestly never heard anything bad about any reputable aftermarket sts. i have an MGW and love it, plus i got to do the shift boot mod too.
