Leave the scoops off and you should lower your CD by .00063. That might be enough to beat that Volkswagen. As a bonus, it will shift the center of pressure forward .2" and increase stability.

A Competition Orange 2004 Mach 1 sold at the Mecum Chicago auction today at no reserve for $16,000. It looked perfect. I believe the no reserve seller's fee is 6% so, the net price was $15,040.

Mach 1s came stock with convertible sub frame connectors. I threw mine away and replaced them with MM full length weld-on connectors. Welded subframe connectors should be your first suspension...
