found out the problem, the oxygen sensor was...

found out the problem, the oxygen sensor was unplugged and somehow interfered with the circuit. i plugged it back in and it started. pi heads are definitely worth it

i just finished my pi head swap and the starter does not crank. checked all fuses and relay but there all good. jumped the starter with a screwdriver and it works. the theft light does not come on so...

PI Head Swap question

Hi guys, i"m doing my pi head swap this weekend and i don't know what spark plug to use. Should i use the ones from 2004(my new heads are 01-04 romeo)? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

yea then i would check your grounds and fuses, im not too familiar with the fox body mustangs so i cant really help much. Hopefully someone jumps in here and gives you a better answer.

ok i re ran the test and i was right about cylinders 1&3. They are both at 185 and i re-ran #2 and got 185 dry 195 wet. so i guess there all fine. thanks for the input bman2000

yes the alternator is supposed to be putting out 14 volts. it sounds like your voltage regulator may be bad. you can easily replace a voltage regulator but you would have to take your alternator...

Try calling ford and see if they can help locate them for you. If not you can just try to carefully remove the old bushings, use lubricant when and if you do it of course.

Should be about 42psi with vacuum unhooked. 38-39 psi are also good to if you get that. it could be a bad fuel pump if you get low pressures and bad regulator if you get too high.

Make sure your looking at the belt diagram...

Make sure your looking at the belt diagram correctly. If the water pump was installed correctly then it should not affect the belt at all.
