i plan to hook the meter back inline and unplug the amps and see if the draw goes away again. I've kept the fuse out and the battery voltage hasn't dropped a bit in over 2 days. i'll post something...

did some more checking and found fuse 32 was for "radio, cd player, GEM". so turned on the radio and it worked but no volume. i'll have to check the amps.

the rod connects the 2 studs I mentioned. 1 stud on the upper, 1 on the lower. maybe it was used during the assembly process while parts were a flying in the factory.

good to know. when I put the liner back in due to it's size, it sits higher w/o pulling on the line. I don't have the t connection in the fender well. it's a straight shot to a 6 or 8 pack connector...
