You are correct. One Brenspeed 91 tune came out a tick quicker and the other came out a tick slower than the Bama 93 Race tune, but the top-end speed of the Bama was consistently a tick faster. I...

I've been using the 91 Brenspeed tune for a couple of days now. This is truly a sweet tune (at least for my driving habits). As I said previously, the first 1.5k is tame, but the torque is real...

Also, as a general rule, you can use higher octane gas than the tune (93 gas with a 91 tune is OK), but you shouldn't use lower octane gas than the tune (87 gas with a 91 tune is not OK).

I just went out and loaded Brenspeed's 91 octane tune and went for a short drive.

My initial impression confirms what AmericanMuscle4.6GT said. It definitely seems more torquey than the Brenspeed...

I have an '08 Mustang GT with a manual transmission. I have done nothing to the car other than replacing the stock exhaust with Flowmaster American Thunder axle-backs. No rear-gear swap, or...

Brenspeed tune - Is this normal?

I just installed the Brenspeed JLT CAI and 93-octane tune.

The tune is very smooth, but to me, it seems a little less torquey than the stock tune at low RPMs.

Once the engine spins up to 3k and...

Get the JLT/Tuner kit from either Brenspeed or Bama. It's around $550. It's the lowest cost, but makes the most hp. You don't have to be a Harvard grad to figure that one out.
