Over head temp reading would infer the outside ambient air sensor..... Do you have a gauge that tells you the current outside temp?

Like the cars that have a compass and information...

Obviously its been leaking for quite some time, and running low on coolant. Usually the first thing that happens is it quits blowing hot air because there is no coolant in the heater...

Don't think it matters much with that particular cobra any ways. That's the one that the PO chopped a hole in the strut tower then tried to monkey weld in a steel plate to cover it.

Either get a fuel pressure gauge that you can view while driving it, or drive it till it will not start any more, then check for fuel pressure , and spark..... One will be missing.

I have done it though installing wires and not get one snapped on...

I highly doubt its fuel related, more likely ignition. PIP inside of dizzy or coil .

That popping is why I say ignition related, fuel related issues generally just cause it to bog...

Have you checked the fuel pressure? Maybe the fuel pressure regulator is bad. If the regulator is leaking it can run very rich. Pull the vacuum line off of it and look for indications of fuel...

I would be wary of just plugging a chip in with out knowing what is flashed on it. It could create a lean condition, or over advance the timing , you just never know what it was used for.

Am usually has every thing, unless its been discontinued and they can no longer get them .
