It's not the same cylinder the spark plug blow out of is the bad part. The head is newly remanned so I'm trying to get my friend to talk to the place he ordered it from and see if he can get it...

forgot to mention the compression was around 50 PSI, other cylinders around 175-185 psi. Did the leakdown test and it leaked down no faster than the other cylinders

So my mustang did what most do with blowing out the spark plug. One of my good friends sold me his stock heads for cheap so I had the heads changed. The Drivers side head was a newly remanned head...

if they put a new cylinder head in, it may have a break in period, but i'm not sure. I'm pretty sure there is a special procedure you have to do after installing the head to get it broken in.

Mine shudders some when it shifts into the 3rd and 4th because the converter locks and makes it shift harder (saves gas if the converter is locked), I felt sure it was just normal for it to do that....

Mine sounded very similar to that recently and it was a compression leak from a spark plug that had loosened up, I ended up blowing the plug out of the head cause I thought it was just an exhaust...

Check the grounds on the bottom of the car, there is one on each motor mount going to the fender, make sure they are tight

also check the connection going into the fuse box, make sure it is tight

sometimes you have to get the air out of the system, not sure if yours has a shraeder valve, but I would hold that down while cranking to make sure no air is in the line, just make sure to put a rag...

and you will not throw the rod through the block with a spun bearing, I drove mine...

basically the PCM is failing to go to sleep and continuously drawing power, removing 1 wire from a connector solves the problem allowing it to go to sleep

essentially when the belt slips, all it does it make it loose boost, so it won't hurt the motor, but like oxfordgt said, you will foul out plugs from the mixture getting extremely rich

if something was shorted I would think the fuse would blow, but you can still try it, something that you might check is the alarm, but I don't think that would drain it

only thing I could think of that you might could try is while it's running, take and put a little more tension on the belt by hand...

If I remember right there is a ground strap on each side of the motor, connected to one of the motor mount bolts on each side, and then to the fender

Also check the connection to the fuse box,...
