We have replaced the TFI with 3 different...

We have replaced the TFI with 3 different ones....and swapped the coil...still not fixed.

It starts and runs fine when cold....just when...

It starts and runs fine when cold....just when you turn it off and then try cranking after its hot...it just spins without even trying to start. It will start back up after it has cooled for hours.

Update..drove it until the cel came back on..rescanned..same codes 3 and 4 misfire..so coils are good..swapped 3 and 4 injectors to good cylinders..cleared codes..drove until it came on again..same...

Usually when the ac compressor clicks on and off every few seconds (causing the fluctuating idle speed) the refrigerant level is low and needs to be topped off...no more engaging and disengaging...

If I were you and really were this concerned about it being automatic...just get a 5 spd instead..then you will not have "settled" for the auto and regret it every time you drive it. I have done this...

Why would your really even need a tune for a gear swap? Besides just to correct the speedo to the new ratio. I personally bought a used Diablo just to correct the speedo when I had 4:10's installed....
