Dude that is dedication LOL, bet you were in some crazy pain. I tore my ACL at football practice last summer, Semi-Pro league, tried to drive home and couldnt even push my clutch in.

Yeah you never have to bleed the master cylinder unless it is run totally dry, Glad it worked out for you. You try a Big breaker bar? I know you should be ok with that gun, I have the cornwell...

Try bleeding all 4 first, I know you didnt do anything to the rears but sometimes it helps. Have you had any problems with a low pedal before?

Could be the actual rack and pinion itself, but whitefox hit all the major points pretty well, a side to side shake will tell you if there is tie rod play. Like he said broken links or bad sway bar...
