You should also clean/replace the filter under the PCV valve. I just did mine due to oil being blown out of the engine. Now, no more oil on the ground and the car (for some reason) starts immediately...

Took my '91 Mustang on 2000 mile trip though the deserts from So Cal to
Idaho near West Yellowstone.

Hit a skunk one mile from home.. smell lasted two days... radio crapped out

Just drive the car in/out of OD, run it to 65 at each of the "new rpms" and
you can see what the car will sound like....

What will car be used for?

Any higher numbered gears will cause higher rpms on the highway... the higher (larger numbers) the gears the more rpms to go 65 mph.

Tires size will also influence the rpms... larger diameter is...

I did not use any sealer

Changed my tank and fuel sender and those grommets. Have no fuel smells
and it has been six months or so now...

GPS plug is too short to make a good connection in the Mustang hole.

When I had my Mustang (stock) CA smog tested the last time, I had to put back on the stock air cleaner... none of the K&N type units are approved (that I could find). Easy enough to do every two...

My 1984 F150 4X4 still has to pass the CA rigid smog check every two years. That is why my go fast toys...

My Stang was doing the same thing...coil wire connection was loose - tightened
it with pliers and it has not missed since. Was especially bad going up a slight
hill...having the coil on the fender...

Installed drivers power seat tracks in '90 LX

Even though I am six foot tall, sitting in my Stang Vert felt like I was too low down. I can now see very well with the seat up about 3/4 of the way.

Could be the source of your problem.. when mine were bad/broken I had all kinds of "strange" things happen.

Mats causing the problem only happen to "Rice Rockets = Toys".... ha ha

Get a Ford Service manual for your year

The real Ford Service manual describes the chimes, their meaning/causes and how to troubleshoot and fix things.

Without a REAL manual (Not Haynes and Chilton) it is hard to do some of the things...
