Anyone else have problems with their taillights?

Just curious, I've owned my 2006 V6 for 2 years now and came out to my car to find that my rear turn signal is burned out AGAIN! After this time, I'll have replaced my rear turn signals 3 times. ...

RE: car wax

As a user of Turtle Wax Ice, I can say that it doesn't smear. If it does, it's because you've applied too much. I made that mistake the first time I used it. The only difficulty is that you have to...

RE: Did anyone ever find the reason behind the dead battery syndrome?

I've got an 06 V6 with the Shaker 500 (since replaced) and didn't experience any battery problems either, but the majority of posts I've read with people having battery problems pointed to a stereo...

RE: Did anyone ever find the reason behind the dead battery syndrome?

Most people feel it's the stereo system's fault. Many people who reported the battery drain problem also reported that physically turning off the stereo before turning the car off prevented the...

RE: 2010 spy shots.

Hard to tell much under all that cover, but a change to the taillights is clearly seen. Looks like the front end may be different as well and almost reminds me of the fron ends on chrysler vehicles....

RE: Mustang=sports car

It's not a sports car. Sports cars generally lack a back seat.

To be honest, I don't think they actually fall under muscle car either. I believe they are considered a pony car. Muscle cars and...

RE: 2010 Mustang : Made in China?!

Guarentee you that 90% of the parts in our cars were manufactured in China. Especially all of the plastic interior. Really the most that can be said is that it was engineered and assembled in the...

RE: STP Octane booster.

I think the owner's manual may specifically state NOT to use products like this in our vehicle because it can potentially screw with a lot of things in the car.

Thanks, guys. I suspected this may be the case. I'll let him know his one option. Shame there aren't others out there though.

Corral for GT

Hey gang,

I'm a V6 owner who ran into a GT owner that really liked the Corral around the pony on my grille. He had asked if anyone made one for the GT, and remembering the Webelectric offering,...

RE: Stripe Color

I'm a big fan of Ford Blue stripes on a white Mustang. It's pretty common though, so if you want something more original go with something else.

RE: black soot

Perhaps you got the special edition Mustang with diesel engine? I have a Vista Blue 06 and no soot issues. Sounds like an improper fuel/air mix.

RE: mufflers

Sorry but the GT takeoff doesn't give you 10hp. At best you'll see 2hp which is essentially nothing. Exhaust on this car is more for sound that performance. Not necessarily true of the older designs.

RE: Clean windows?

Yeah, the outgassing ofthe plastics tends to cloud up the windows, but I'm beginning to suspect the interior plastic cleaners (Meguiars, Black Magic, Armor-all(gasp), etc) are as much to blame as...

RE: Vista Blue w/ Matte Black Stripes

Sorry, I should have clarified: all the attention is drawn to the stripes, not to the car in general. Just looking for something a little more subtle is all.

Vista Blue w/ Matte Black Stripes

Anyone out there with a Vista Blue stang and matte black stripes? I'm thinking of adding a superstripe on the hood, and a matte black spoiler. Please post pics!

RE: Holy Crap. I actually hit 26.4MPG on my ride home from work.

Wow! You GT's are getting better than my V6. I'm lucky to pull 17 mpg (all city driving). Makes me wonder if something wrong with my car. Used to get ~20 mpg before my tune.

I'm still debating the silver stripes on my car and saw some Vista Blues with silver stripes on them. I have the pony package though and a chrome lower grille. Do you think the stripes will clash due...

RE: Need some more help guys

Go with the 07 gt. All of the interior upgrades can be purchased as future mods later thanks to the ripe take-off market. To be honest, I got a fully loaded v6 and if I had to do it again, I'd have...
