RE: 545rwhp / 481ft-lbs ... Low torque issue?

RE: 1997 Cobra Front Bumper

Ive seen it done in an issue of MM&FF. You'd have to get a new hood, new fenders, and a new bumper. Then it would all have to be custom molded. It was a one-off job but Im not sure it'd be too tough....

RE: turbo?

RE: Hows Cobras Handling?

In stock form? No, not really. The weight really kills them. You can however, upgrade your suspension to where you could get very close to them depending on how much money you have. Biggest thing on...

RE: Hows Cobras Handling?

It wont really compare...well maybe to a 330 but compared to an S2000 or an M3, it wont be on the same page. Those cars handle like their on rails and are much lighter and much more easy to throw...

RE: Hows Cobras Handling?

I actually have a 96 cobra now lol. Lowered with Koni adjustables on front and rear. Care to open track it with me? :D

Also, a solid axle will outperform an IRS setup on an open track. The IRS...

RE: Hey guys..Looking to get an 03-04 cobra

RE: Where can I buy a gun?

RE: Hows Cobras Handling?

Decent for what it is. It wasnt made for the curves and the weight of the vehicle shows that. If you plan on open tracking it, switch to a solid rear axle and get to work on weight reduction.

RE: Hey guys..Looking to get an 03-04 cobra

Its a good buy. They hold their value well and they are a fun car. I wouldnt pay more than 22k for an 03 and no more than 25k for an 04 imo. It'd be tough to find them in that price range, but thats...

RE: would 2.5" pipes be beneficial on basically stock gt?
