Yeah i talked to Ford today and they told me both cables would need to be replaced, to the tune of $400. I tried an NTB, and they wanted $475.

I would have a good trusted local mechanic do this if you have one. If Ford doesn't cover this, they will likely overcharge you for the service. See my last thread on the differential seal.
