I have 2011 GT500 wheels (and tires) on my GT, and even with no snow, if the temp is under about 50 degrees, my car is useless....

I think the only way you're going to prevent gases from entering is the get a blank EGR spacer like I mentioned.

Using a block off plate in place of the EGR valve and bypassing the water lines...

A C4 and and C6 isn't going to need a computer anyway, just a detent cable. So use a manual computer and you should be A-OK.

That's a nice sized budget.

Heads, cam, intake, and a good carb is where I'd start. Throw in a 3.73 gear and you'll have a nice running beginning for your first Mustang!
