good you replaced the plug, there was a recall on those back in the day and new harness ends use to come with reman alts, not sure if they still do, also don't trust that vatozone test at the store,...

if there is no gap / hole showing on the other side, then you don't have the intake sitting level/correctly centered, meaning you have it cocked

with the right parts, most are making on the low...

with the right parts, most are making on the low side 425 rwhp-475 rwhp easily out of a 363.......choose the right h/c/i and supporting mods and there you have your hp goal......put 302 parts on it...

you should use about a 12 gauge wire and I'd run it to a switched 12v source not constant such as battery but yes those are the only 2 wires needed to fire it off
