If you are finished your bolt ons and mods get a dyno tune, if your car pings- you are way too lean and can damage your engine, get a safe tune.

I dynoed 502 rwhp with the eaton and razers edge pulley making 14 PSI. Just bolt ons, kook long tubes, intake, TB, heat exchanger fan intercooler upgrade, spark boost, fuel pumps, I made 560 foot lbs...

Pa with 96 and up, OBD2 will pass the car with MIL eliminators and O2 sensors in place, no visual necesarry, you can also be exempt if you drive the car less than 5 k per year. On my 02 Gt vert I did...

Modding an 87 5.0

No experience with the 5.0 only with the 4.6 and I have a few questions. We have a bone stock 87 GT, when we switch to a 2 1/2 cat back and off road H pipe will we need mil eliminators and 02 sensors...

Ran at Beaver Springs last Saturday, couldnt hook 1st or 2nd the BFgs are new and the line locks not in yet, ran 12.2 @ 120 should be 11's soon I hope. Yeah Landisville is close by where is Cecil?

Lowering springs and drag springs are 2 different mods, lowering your car makes weight transfer more difficult thus less traction for a launch, drag springs help your car squat better thus better...

Congrats, CJ really helped me mod my Yellow 02 GT vert down to 13.2@ 102 I live close by and they do a great job, I buy alot of parts there.

Driveshaft shop makes level 5 axles for the IRS that handle 900 rwhp. They cost $1499 but with 570 rwhp you will need them, my buddy snapped his stock half shafts (level 2) on his first drag radial...

An 03 or 04 Cobra SVT can be all you should need. They respond very well to bolt ons and its easy to get them over 500 RWHP without investing a fortune. If you want they can be modded to 700 or 800...

Definately get the stock catted mid pipe off and a cat back of your choice, there are many options depending on price and sound preference, this will not only get you alot more power but sound great...

It actually is 3-5 hp getting rid of it! Going back to 1987 they found that on those Gts it gained that much, on those cars it was pretty restrictive.

I would go exhaust, or h or x and cat back, brand your preference, intake, 70 mm TB and plenum for sure, gears 4:10 if you stay na and 3:73 if you plan future N20 or SC. Drag radials and pullies put...

If there is any way you can get your car inspected avoid the cats. In PA if you drive less than 5k year you are exempt from emissions. Most people know somebody, cats are rwhp killers.

I would advance your timing to the max with the parameters, it makes a big dif, run 93 octane, dont mess with A/F without a meter and dyno.

Your car probably has a 2 inch h-pipe with 4 catalytic converters on it, get rid of it if you want to open it up and make any kind of power.
