Allowing for more strut travel means that they will not bottom out easily on lowered cars.

You cannot use the stock camber plates with a coil-over kit. A coil-over kit adds much more strut to the camber plate and strut mount area. You need a good aftermarket plate to handle this.

Well none of the other manufacturers release their spring rates for 05-09 Mustang springs, so its hard to compare the spring rates directly.

Their lowering distances can obviously be compared...
