get yourself a multimeter and check the resistance values of car at idle, .90 give or take +/- a few is where ya wanna be at idle. with test leads hooked up rev your car up and watch the numbers rise...

I didnt know about the dye, thanks. But Im pretty sure that its not around the grommet, i siliconed it before i put it back in. Could be wrong, ill have to pick up some of that dye you suggested.
