Engine Fires Then Dies

For the last few mornings I have had a hard time getting my Stang started. I will turn the ignition on and let the fuel pump set/pump up, hit the key and it sounds like normal starting, turn ignition...

RE: Garage Queens, who's got'em?

I wouldn't consider mine a garage queen, but it is not abused either. I driver her everyday from my garage to a remote covered parking spot at work. She has been driven in rain, and snow-yes it does...

RE: New Ford & Mustang owner; off to rocky start!

If you are still having the same or less of a problem, have the dealer send out the driveline to check the staightness and balance it. If it comes back without a problem, then they can look somewhere...

RE: Pony vs. Deer

The damage doesn't look too bad-you are lucky.

How fast were you going when you made contact?

RE: car acting like a POS!!!!!

Maybe y'all need to have the alternator checked for low RPM output. It sounds like your cars are running fine and will restart after highway speeds, that sounds like the alternator is not putting out...

RE: car acting like a POS!!!!!

I would check the battery cables at the battery to make sure they are tight and not corroded. Then check the other endsand make sure they are tight. The clicking sound could be the starter solenoid...

RE: Suggestions..

No, guess I haven't criticized anyone recently. I guess I am not looking at the negative side of life like you are. If you like to criticize, maybe you should do it in a constructive way?

What...

It is ok to have an opinon and voice it, just don't belittle others with stupid a$$ comments about ricers and women-you are...

RE: Suggestions..

Saying axlebacks are for women and rice burners is a pretty bold statement. I think you need to trade off the V6 and buy a GT-you will fitbetterwith the 4.6crowd.

RE: do i have a lemon

I think it is time to find another dealership. Call around and explain the problems. If you feel more comfortable with them over the phone-then get the thing towed over there and let them work on it....

RE: '07 V6 Pony Package vs '07 V8 GT

+1 for all of the above.

I love the grille, wheels, spoiler, and the retro look.

I drove a GT and a V6 back to back and I could not justify the added $$$ for the GT over the V6.

RE: Looking at this 07 for 20k.

Is it new or used? If used walk away. If new, why does it have the GT wheels and badges?

I bought my '07 new off the transporter with Pony Package for right at 20k loaded.

RE: History on Charcoal and Silver 17" Bullitts?

I bought my '07 in October and I hate the silver wheels. I was very disappointed Ford discontinued the charcoal wheels. To correct the factory mistake, I bought a set of take-off '06 charcoal wheels...

RE: waiting for my Mustang SUCKS! i cant sleep

Be patient, it will get here sooner if you stop thinking about it 24 hours per day-I know I did the same thing. If it is a "Pony Package" then it should have the 17" bullitt style wheels.

When...
