Firstly I don't like chrome myself, tcrote's engine bay is much nicer than yours IMO. So I would reroute the wires in the engine bay before chroming stuff.

Leaking kickdown C4 plan of attack

Ok I found my major transmission leak at the kickdown lever on my C4 and wanted to run though my plan to fix it:

Drain transmission

remove filter pan
remove valve body
take apart kick down...
