i agree with 289FB. Keep that car original and sell it. Buy a Mustang that came with a 289 or 302.

C6 in place of a C4??

I want to have more then 3 gears in my 1966 289 V8. The problem is I don't want the EXTREME mess of making my car a stick with a T-5. So I want to know if it would be less work to find a C6 replace...

How do u remove the Woodruff Key from the Crankshaft nose without damaging it. I have already removed the timing chain sprockets and just want to get the blasted key off the nose. HOW DO I DO IT?

if you can get behind the gauge panel then this will help.....if put ur hand on the back end of the bezel the push it towards the back of the car and turn it...it should come loose...if you can't get...
