Wow great thread, sorry that if you have already addressed this but I am wondering how you managed to mold the quarter extensions to the panel??? I have always wanted to do this but i have been weary...

My Tach is not working!!!

Need header help!!

I am looking for a set of shorty headers for my 96 Cobra and i cant find anything reasonably priced. I know ford racing used to have a pair but all i can find now are only for the 2V.... Any help...

idle issues

My 96 wont idle correctly.... the idle will go up for a few seconds then back down again. i pulled code 0411 from the comp. but im not sure what it is... any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

i bought my car with LT's, i live in cali and need to smog it soon. i think that im gonna get shortys so i dont have to worry about smog in the future. What headers can i get for a reasonable price....

cooling problems....

my fan doesnt turn on when the car begins to heat up.... i tested the fan itself and it works, so i guess im wondering what controls the fan???

Major coolant leak.....

coolant is leaking from somewhere around my water pump. ive heard that this means it is going out. any ideas????

if the caliper is bad it can be rebuilt, its not too difficult. just a couple of o rings and a a rubber dust cover. you dont need a new caliper...... they sell rebuild kits at the autoparts store.

ya. the X pipe will work. I converted my shorty x pipe and madeit to fit long tubes. just cut the socket flange off and weld it where its needed to fit correctly.

i know its not easy.... i had to drop the motor on my 96 cobra. The 2V has a little more clearence but i would imagine they wont fit very easily....
