No, they are synthetic cellulose blends. Amsoil EaO oil filters on the Mustang are rated to be used up to 25,000 miles or one year. Severe service schedule is 15,000 miles.

Your results will be the same. The only car I use Amsoil 5W-20 in is my 2012 Ford Focus, since it's only a daily driver grocery getter than rarely sees higher than 4,000 rpm.

This lubricant will easily make 15,000 miles. No way anything off the shelf...

That's why you step away from the 5W-50 recommendation and use a true synthetic 10W-40. Royal Purple or Amsoil fits the bill nicely.

Mobil 1 and other off the shelf lubricants are not all crap, they are simply misleading. You think you are buying a true synthetic, when in fact you are buying highly refined petroleum. I don't care...
