Right taillight doesn't work

Both taillights work when I press the brakes, the right turn signal works and the bulbs themselves are ok, I tested them. The right brake light just doesn't work. I'm not sure about the switch but i...

I ran a 13.53@110 the last time I took it to the track. The track was pretty slick and had some serious traction issues. Tires broke loose at 6000 rpms in 1st and 2nd gears. The car has plenty of...

RE: Splash blended fuel= bad MPG?

Yep, I get worse mileage with ethanol blended gas. Ethanol produces less energy for a given volume than gasoline does so you will get less milage and power but it will vary from car to car depending...

RE: MGW short shifter

Shift stops are not necessary since the T5 has built in shift stops. I have an MGW and after two weeks it's much smoother than the Hurst I had before and makes no noise at all. As a matter of fact it...

RE: Burning Smell....

I got the same burning smell. It comes and goes. As it turns out the smell from mine was from the transmission. The T5 gets very hot and in my case there was a little too much oil in the transmission...

RE: 10% ethonal ?

It's ridiculous that ethanol is put into gas for emission reasons because it emits more harmful chemical byproducts than straight gasoline and it lowers your mileage to boot. Unfortunately it...

RE: The End of the Muscle Cars

First off, It's just going to be for new vehicles but since many Americans prefer to drive larger vehicles the new CAFE standards will just hurt new car sales. When it gets to the point that most...

RE: WMS Ram Air?

No. it doesn't need to be tuned. I ran it for a while with the stock tune then installed the Steeda tune and it ran fine with both. I never got the CEL. I have since gotten it dyno tuned though I...

RE: WMS Ram Air?

I've noticed that there isn't much of a difference between the WMS and the Steeda below about 2500-3000 rpms but there is a noticable difference above 3000 rpms. As for normal highway speeds until I...

RE: v6 4.0 heads, cam, and turbo

A question for Fazm. You mentioned you have an upgraded T5. Did you get a complete after-market T5 like from G-Force transmissions or did you rebuild your original with upgraded parts? Did you go...

RE: Vibration at 3250 rpms......

I have the same vibration just at a different rpm. Mine is at around 1175 rpms & 2375 rpms. Since it occurs a specific rpms and is at multiples of the low rpm then it's a harmonic vibration. The...

RE: '07 v6 mustang(5sp) vs. '07 camry :-((

First off flooring it in second gear at 40 mph in a manual V6 Mustang will only get you to about 65 mph at 6000 rpms. Maybe it was a type when you typed 40- 80 mph. Maybe you ment 40 - 60 mph or...

RE: Another beautiful stang bites the dust!!!!
