Sylvania XtraVisions work fine and don't break the bank. A pair for $25 on Amazon. The relays do help brightness too, as you know. When the day comes to install them, you will be glad you did.

The bulbs are not routed through the CVR on the instrument panel. They ARE routed through the headlight switch so that the dash lights can be dimmed. Some folks seem to be able to dim their LED's on...
