I figured I would have to shorten the drive shaft, but since I am installing the engine and tranny, I guess the only issues would be shifter cable and motor mounts and power steering pump/bracket....

The motor has been rebuilt and has a cam in it and a 4 barrel intake. I am not sure what was done to the motor, but it does not smoke and PO said it does not leak/use oil. It runs out pretty strong...

I tried moving the distributor to the number 1, it will only back fire and pop, engine will not start. The only way I get it to start and run is by lining #5 up with TDC on the Harmonic balancer.
