just replacing all the old ball joints and bushings would be a good start, a performance wheel alignment and replace shocks and springs.

+1 the arning drop makes a big improvement very cheaply.

if you have the wrong rotation driven gear it...

if you have the wrong rotation driven gear it wont work.

4spd toploaders are left hand helix and iirc most other ford gearboxes are right hand. if you look at the gear with the cable running back...
